(GENERAL TIRE) A mini-archive containing 55 photographs pertaining to products offered by the General Tire and Rubber Company of Akron, Ohio. Primarily comprised of quiet still lifes depicting various car parts and accessories, such as fan belts, car heaters, safety kits, patching cement, radio speakers, and of course, tires. Also shown is a new Ford Coupe riding on a crisp set of General tires. Silver prints, the images measuring 8x10 inches (20.3x25.4 cm.), and the reverse, each with the photographer's hand stamp and inventory number, on recto. Circa 1945
