Additional Details

Logs of British naval ships operating principally in the Mediterranean with stops in Spain, Italy, Malta, Greece, Gibraltar, Turkey and Ireland. In December 1892 the ship Volage made a Transatlantic voyage to the Caribbean with port calls in Trinidad, Grenada, St. Kitts, Bermuda, and Martinique during the first months of 1893 before heading homeward to Portsmouth in April. The profusion of Wray's hand-drawn charts of the places they visited are extremely accomplished in their detail.
