Album containing 39 platinum prints by an accomplished photographer of the verdant island of Jamaica; with scenes of lush vegetation, Kingston harbor and street scenes, local plantations, natives posing in front of their huts, the botanical gardens, picturesque landscapes, laborers at the docks, the church at Half Way and much more. Platinum prints, 22 are 7 3/4x5 3/4 inches (19.7x14.6 cm.), and the rest smaller, many with a handwritten caption, in ink, on recto. Tall 4to, leather, worn; prints mounted on one side of the sheet.
