The manuscript constitution and history of an elite society dedicated to the Virgin of Guadalupe. It is attractively presented with a calligraphic half-title and title page, followed by a history of Guadalupe and a description of the monument which the society has erected. The society's by-laws begin on page 24, giving their official name as "la Nobilissima Esclavitud de Nobles y Señores Esclavos de N. S'ma Madre, y Señora la Virgen de Guadalupe." Membership is limited to 24 noble men and women, celebrations are to be held every 12 December, and roses are to be distributed to the Indians in memory of Juan Diego (leaf 28).
