This pamphlet dates from the early part of the career of Antonio López de Santa Anna (1794-1876), when he supported the insurgency which brought President Vicente Guerrero to power. Written by the Bishop of Puebla, José Antonio Joaquín Pérez Martínez y Robles, it denounces Santa Anna as a foolish and rash demagogue. We trace no other examples at auction, in OCLC, or elsewhere.
