A collection of poems in Latin and Spanish by various authors. Beristain credits a similiarly titled work of the same year, now lost, to Francisco Ramírez (see Medina 353). The printer Blanco de Alcázar has been described as "one of the most curious figures in the history of printing in New Spain," and was later imprisoned for many years by the Inquisition for printing a libelous pamphlet (see Kenneth C. Ward, "Mexico, where they coin money and print books: the Calderón dynasty and the Mexican book trade," University of Texas dissertation, pages 47-48). Medina, México 350; Palau 92618. Medina cites just one copy, in a private library, while OCLC lists one at Biblioteca Nacional de México. None known at auction.
