A Franciscan history of the Sacred Congregation for the Propagation of the Faith's activities in New Spain. "Contains . . . a history of the missions on the Rio Grande and in Texas largely written from the personal experiences of Espinosa himself''--Wagner, Spanish Southwest 117.
