The letters, to both the Count of Lannoy and the Liège envoy in the Hague, each concerning a neutrality treaty with France. The document, ordering noblemen to receive orders from Count Lannoy at the Cloister of St. Leonard. Together 3 1/2 pages, tall 4to. Liège, 18 January; 22 February; 13 June 1689 Thomas James Mathias. Autograph Poem Signed, "Anton Baron Klesheim," the three stanzas of "Mailüfterl" ["The May Breeze"], in German. 1 page, 4to. Gmunden, "Annatag" [26 July] 1882 Thomas Pitt, 1st Baron Camelford. Autograph Poem dated, unsigned, two stanzas celebrating the birthday he shares with George Edgcumbe, ending "The Day that gave all these to you, / Gave Being and a Friend to me." 1 page, 6 1/2x7 1/2 inches; nearly complete separation at vertical fold.
