(NEON SIGNAGE) A group of approximately 105 photographs of eccentric neon signs promoting drive-in theaters, bowling alleys, cocktail lounges, diners, motels, and more throughout small-town America.
The collection of images mostly produced by Wagner Sign Service, Inc., were used to show potential clients that the sky was the limit when it came to creating unique neon signs for an array of services. Silver prints, the images measuring approximately 9x7 inches (22.9x17.8 cm.), and the reverse, the sheets slightly larger, most with the signage company's credit or the date, in the negative. 1960s
