Most notable is a possibly unique survival, not traced in OCLC or elsewhere, a prospectus titled "The Tempest Silver Mining Company Located at the City of Austin, Reese River Mining District, Lander County, Nevada." 31 pages, minimal wear. New York: C.O. Jones, 1865.
Also included are: "The Ruby Silver Mining Company." Folding map, 11 pages, moderate wear and soiling. 2 copies in OCLC. New York: William C. Bryant, 1864 and "The Silver Mines of Nevada" (second edition). Folding map. 77 pages. 8vo, original printed wrappers, minor wear; light vertical fold throughout. Howes N61; Wagner-Camp 422c. New York: William C. Bryant, 1865. The map which appears in the last two titles, "Map of the Washoe, Humboldt and Reese River Silver Mines," is described in Wheat, Transmississippi West V:1128 and page 156, where it is described as belonging to a third pamphlet.
