Hand-colored lithographed wall map of Rhode Island with numerous inset town plans including Newport and Providence. 55x46 inches overall, segmented, mounted on original linen backing with marbled paper self-wrappers, and folding into publisher's gilt-blocked cloth slipcase; strong original hand-color in full; box worn and cracked, map with a light age tone, minor chips and abrasions, and a 1936 pictorial Rhode Island Tercentenary label pasted to the lower edge.
