first and only edition, the only known copy. Contains the "Exhortation," "The Confession," "The Lord's Prayer," "The Apostles' Creed," "The Ten Commandments," and "Prayer." Undoubtedly, referring to this pamphlet Handler (Supplement, page 35) says: I have been unable to locate a copy of this item. It was advertised in The Barbadian, newspaper, January 3, 1824 as being on sale at the paper's office in Bridgetown. On page 14 of the first Annual Report of the Branch Association of the Island of Barbados in aid of the Incorporated Society (included here), there is a reference to Reverend S. Hinds having prepared a compilation of the forms of prayer for the Negroes of the various plantations on the island. Not located in any of the standard references.
