Additional Details

The first 3 samples are portraits, which could be ordered in one of the styles shown (glossy chromolithograph, plain paper, photo transfer on silk) or they could be made from a family photograph. The rest are classic "uplift" posters: "Family Record," "In Sacred Memory," "Remembrance," "Beacon Light" (Frederick Douglass and Paul Laurence Dunbar), "The Little Shepherd," "Jesus Died for Both," "My Faith I Place in Thee," "The Protecting Angel," "Heavenward," "Inspiration," "A Mother's Joy," "Mama I Love You," "Booker T. Washington," "Marriage Certificate," "Onward," "Jack Johnson," and a large sheet with choices for frames.
Many such posters have been offered individually in previous Swann sales. This is the first salesman's sampler we have seen.
