Marilyn Monroe I Love Your Kiss Forever Forever.

Color lithograph on white wove paper, 1964. 409x571 mm; 16⅛x22½ inches (sheet), full margins. Edition of 2000. Printed by Maurice Beaudet, Paris. Published by Kornfeld, Bern. From 1¢ Life. A very good impression.

1¢ Life was a landmark publication of 1964, produced by Chinese born artist Walasse Ting (1929-2010) with assistance from his friend and fellow artist Sam Francis. Ting brought together a diverse group of contemporary artists to contribute original prints for the portfolio, caught between the moment of Abstract Expressionism and Pop Art in the early 1960s, including Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Mel Ramos, James Rosenquist, Tom Wesselmann, Pierre Alechinsky, Karel Appel and others, linking them together with his own art and poetry. Ting's poem complimenting Warhol's early color lithograph is titled Jade White Butterfly. Feldman 5.
