Nason was a graphic artist based in Boston who designed posters for the WPA in the late 1930s, but is best known for a series of posters he created for the New Haven Railroad. He also designed images for the Boston Metropolitan Transit Authority and Filene's department store. This rare poster promoting Massachusetts was designed during the four years when Foster Furcolo was governor of the state (1957-1961). We could find no other copies at auction.
