Autograph Letter Signed, "Caruso," to Sybil Seligman ("Cara Signora"), in Italian, thanking for her friendship, explaining that "she" is regretful [Ada Giachetti, his partner with whom he has four children, who ran away with Caruso's driver in May], but expressing his resolve not to renew the relationship, mentioning daily study for New York performances, and giving travel dates for his tour of Germany and America in October. 2 pages, 4to, "Hotel Cecil" stationery, written on the recto and verso of a single sheet; minor loss to text at folds. London, 10 August 1908
