39x25 inches, 99x63½ cm. Barabino & Graeve, Genova.
Condition A-: expertly-repaired tear through upper left corner; minor repaired tears at edges; minor creases in image. Framed.

Seen from beneath a stone archway, the harbor of Mandraki, with the fortress of St. Nicholas in the distance, and two pillars on the site where the Colossus of Rhodes (one of antiquity's seven wonders) supposedly once stood. As of 1947, the statues atop the twin pillars are Rhodian deer, a stag and a doe, named Elefos and Elafina. However, in the poster it is only the stag and on the other pillar is a statue of a suckling Romulus and Remus.
