This Gary Cooper-led version of "Beau Geste" is the second of three screen adaptations of P.C. Wren's 1924 novel. The story follows the adventures of English brothers Beau, John and Digby, who enlist separately in the French Foreign Legion following the theft of a valuable jewel from a relative's country house.
