An interesting and accomplished group of photomontages promoting various responsibilities, duties and humanitarian incentives undertaken by the United Nations. One of the posters, Vigils For Peace has been attributed to Danish artist Ole Hamann, who was chief of the UN's Graphic Design Section from 1953 to 1960. However, these posters are less reflective of his style and more in keeping with the design sensibilities of Ladislav Sutnar, who designed several posters for the United Nations in the mid 1940s.
