A very good, dark proof of this very scarce print. We have found no other impressions at auction. Ittman notes only two impressions in private collections.
Possibly a childhood memory of growing up in Georgia, Dox Thrash shows in this evocative print both his experimental technique in carborundum and an unromantic view of the black experience in rural America. Ittmann 90.
