First edition in English, title page printed within an ornate border printed in green ink, illustrated with frontispiece portrait and 109 plates, text in English and French in two columns throughout, contents very good, with some slight finger smudging; bound in contemporary half tan calf, worn and rubbed, 19 1/2 x 13 1/2 in.

[Together with] two copies of the folio Planches du Voyage dans la Basse et la Haute Égypte, the plate volume; the first example [London: Peltier & Bagster, 1807], illustrated with 107 of 109 plates (lacking plates 25 and 84, used as frontispieces in the two text volumes), bound in half leather with marbled paper boards, with the original publisher's label on front board, 19 3/4 x 11 3/4 in.; [and] another copy of a different edition, London: Peltier, [circa 1809]; illustrated with engraved frontispiece and sixty plates, with duplicates of three plates (XV, XLII, & XLVII) inserted, bound in contemporary half leather (worn, front board becoming detached) and marbled paper boards, 18 3/4 x 11 1/2 in.
