EASTMAN, ZEBINA. Historical Sketches of the Anti-Slavery Movement in the United States. 16 pages. String-bound. 8vo, original printed self-wrappers; vertical crease where folded for mailing. Chicago: W.B. Keen, Cooke & Company, 1874

Additional Details

sample pages from an unpublished history. "Comprising the Papers read before the National Anti-Slavery Re-Union, held in the City of Chicago, June 9, to 12, 1874" from the continuation of the title. Contains samples of what would be in the final work. We could find no trace of the completed history, though the Chicago History Museum has another copy of this prospectus. The Re-Union committee itself was to be the author, but must have run into financial hard times.
