Condition B+: repaired tears and creases in margins and image; restored loss along top right margin. Knauf was a painter in Berlin who is only known to have designed this one poster. Advertising a construction exhibition put on by the Cement and Lime Industry, Knauf evokes an image of strength, in the form of three large black silhouettes, and consistency, as depicted in the patterned background.
