FERNANDO KRAHN (1935-2010)
Mr. and Mrs. Minus enjoying a deep sleep.

2 interior illustrations printed on pages 9 and 10 in The Family Minus (New York: Parents' Magazine Press, 1977). Ink and watercolor on paper. Each 196x287 mm; 7¾x11¼ inches. Unsigned.

The Family Minus tells the entertaining story of a day in the life of a household of anthropomorphized opossums. Krahn uses white to frame each scene, creating an effective contrast with brilliant watercolors.
