During his long career (see lot 3) Glass often accepted commissions from the city of Munich. This travel poster, considered one of his classic designs, emphasizes a religious aspect of the city with an extremely unusual approach. It is an architectural snapshot of Munich's Frauenkirche and its surroundings depicted in yellow within the stylized outline of a bishop.
