First collected edition, with full-page engraved frontispieces by Thomas Cecill for The Tragedie of Lodovick Sforza Duke of Millan and The Levites Revenge, bound in early 19th century gilt calf by Hering, spine worn, joints cracking, lacking preliminary blank; two leaves of explanation of the plates with neatly extended margins; four other preliminary leaves and final leaf remargined, this copy most likely made-up with some leaves supplied from a shorter copy; from the library of Richard Farmer, "with the Tragedy of Sforza" added in his hand on the general title; the Heber copy, with his note of acquisition and binding cost dated 1807; bookplate of Sir David Dundas with Charles W.G. Howard bookplate, sold to Maggs in 1944; 5 1/2 x 3 1/2 in.
