Illuminated liturgical manuscript in Latin, written in bâtarde script in brown ink, 15 lines (except Calendar in 18), recto and verso, on vellum. with twelve miniatures within full-page borders in colors and gold by 2(?) artists; seven additional full-page borders on text pages; 3-line divisional initials in blue on gold ground with floral decoration in colors; one- and two-line initials and line fills in gold alternately on blue and red ground throughout. 156 leaves (the last blank except for ruling), complete. 117x81 mm, 17th-century olive morocco, spine attractively gilt with ornamental tooling; margins trimmed just entering the top of several miniatures, light stain in lower margins at beginning and end, occasional minor soiling and wrinkling of vellum. Latin ownership inscription of Edward Jerningham, possibly the poet and playwright (1737-1812). Tours(?), circa 1475
