IGOUT, JEAN-BAPTISTE (1837-circa 1881) A presentation album titled "Album d'Études Poses," with 39 composite studies of the human form. Includes men, women, and children in various poses and employing various gestures, some studies with multiple figures, others single studies, usually the figures are nude, but also includes bust studies, hands, and other details. Albumen prints, each image measuring approximately 1 7/8x1 1/4 inches (4.8x3.2 cm.), and the overall size of each plate 7 3/4x5 1/4 inches (19.7x13.3 cm.), with a plate number in the lower left corner, and the Calavas Paris publisher credit printed on each mount recto. Small folio, patterned paper-covered boards with a red gilt-lettered backstrip. Circa 1870s
