Condition B+: creases, abrasions and restoration at edges and along vertical and horizontal folds; slight foxing in margins and text. Matted and framed.

"This is most likely the last poster by Grün and an official commission for the celebration of Joan of Arc's trial in Rouen. In this instance, Grün does a good job of using flat colors and strong shadows. Here is a work of unquestionable quality where the painter rediscovers the rules of his first passion - the poster" (Grun p. 137).
