The book includes the double challenge of solving the riddles and finding the answers in the detailed pictures that face each page. This illustration contains the answers to riddles 10-16: key, cat, snowman, icicle, dove, horse and rider, and windmill.

Additional Details

Monika Beisner, born in Hamburg in 1942, studied painting in Braunschweig and Berlin. With the support of a German Academic Exchange Scholarship and a Fulbright Grant, she furthered her studies at the Slade School of Art in London and at the New School for Social Research in New York. Beisner then launched a successful career as a book illustrator, publishing 16 books in various languages between 1971 and 1994. Her work has earned her international acclaim and led to exhibitions worldwide.
