Second edition with reissued title replacing original cancelled title and first signature, but with Marston's name or initials on divisional title pages; lacking first and last blanks; bound in full 19th century crushed red morocco by Bedford, aeg; ex libris John L. Clawson with his gilt-tooled red morocco label inside front board, sold in Clawson's sale on 15 May 1926 to L.C. Harper, with a Harper collation note in pencil on ffep; 5 1/2 x 3 1/2 in.

Marston had taken holy orders in 1609 and was a practicing clergyman at the time of publication. He did not want his name used in the publication, thus the cancel and reissue of leaves.
