The imposing towers of Great Minster Cathedral, the roofs of Zurich's Old Town, the bridges across the Limmat River and the distant Alpine peaks are all presented in a straightforward geometric pattern. Most of Baumberger's travel posters from 1928 and 1929 reflect this style of using geometric planes of flat color constructed into views. It is interesting to compare it with another geometric depiction of the famed Swiss city in Otto Morach's 1920 poster for Taxameter A. Welti-Furrer. This is the smaller format.
