Peanut Butter Jelly and Jammin' is a dynamic jazz painting by figurative artist, Paul Goodnight who is known for his expressive images of dancers and musicians. According to the artist, painting has a New Orleans feellng to it: "the title comes when I am doing music, I like to put sensess together like your sense of smell and what you hear.

After serving a tour of duty in the Vietnam war, Paul Goodnight returned to Boston and received a BFA and an honorary MFA from Massachusetts College of Art. He went on to become an internationally known artist having his work exhibited at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and the Smithsonian Institution. Goodnight's paintings also have been featured in a number of films and television shows including Ghost, Seinfeld, and The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
