RALPH O'NEIL (DATES UNKNOWN) UP TO MOUNT ABU / WHERE IT'S SO COOL AND SO BRACING. Circa 1930.

Condition B+: replaced losses in margins; repaired tears at edges, some into image; minor creases and abrasions in margins and image.
Mount Abu, in the Southwestern part of Rajasthan, has been a popular "hill station" retreat for visitors for centuries. Its elevated oases contain forests, rivers, lakes and waterfalls as well as multiple shrines. This poster features the modern style in which visitors transport themselves to the locale. The logo is for the Bombay, Baroda and Central India Railway. Nothing is known about the artist except for a small visual legacy of less than half a dozen posters designed for this railroad.
