Similarly austere in color scheme (Roland-Holst primarily used only one or two colors for his posters), this image returns to his familiar style of placing characters in the center of the image surrounded by empty space. The pre-Raphaelite image announces an exhibition commemorating the 100th anniversary of the birth of Johannes Bosboom, a famous Dutch painter.
