The Mont-Blanc railway is the highest altitude railway line in France, connecting St. Gervais with Nid d'Aigle (the Eagle's Nest). In the winter, its steam engines would push passenger cars up the hill. Printed in two languages, this is the French version. The patterned sweater in this poster "is in fact modeled after one knit by Marguerite Broders" (Broders p. 11).
