Pair of accordion-fold Japanese albums with a total of 74 delicately hand-colored photographs; the first with 50 prints, comprising 25 views and 25 portraits, and the second with 24 scenes of villages, studies of geishas, and other marvelous occupationals. Hand-colored albumen prints, 7 3/4x10 1/4 inches (19.7x26 cm.), and the reverse; with the original tissue guards, which are generally creased. Oblong folios, cloth-covered wooden boards, edgewear.
