Hand-painted animation cel from the classic animated feature, 101 Dalmatians, which was first released January 21st, 1961. 217x306 mm; 8½x12 inches, in 11x14-inch mat. The setup was originally sold at the famed Disneyland Art Corner, and includes the gold Art Corner label au verso.
The cel setup features the film's recurring unnamed artist character walking her Afghan hound Prissy. Cels of these two characters are exceptionally hard to come by.
The matching scene appears at the beginning of the film (around the 4 min 53 sec mark), when Pongo surveys dog owners passing by the window as potential partners for his "pet" human Roger. He first sees this duo and remarks: "Hmm. An unusual breed."
