WILL HOLINGSWORTH QUEBEC / CHATEAU FRONTENAC / CANADIAN PACIFIC. 1924.
36x241/4 inches.
Condition A.
The Chateau Frontenac was built at the end of the 19th century by the Canadian Pacific Railroad. It was designed by New York architect Bruce Price, who incorporated stylistic flourishes from the Middle Ages and the Rennaisance into the castle-like structure. The Canadian Pacific owned and operated a string of luxury hotels across Canada which served as a major draw for passengers. Not in Canadian Pacific, Zega p. 83.
