The men ranging in age from their early 20s to their late 50s, many staring blankly into the camera. Silver prints, the images measuring 3 1/2x4 1/2 inches (8.9x11.4 cm.), nearly all with a "Criminal Identification Unit Police Department Phila., Penn." hand stamp and the typed (a few handwritten in ink) subject's name, address, crime, and identifying characteristics, on verso (one is blank); in a contemporary binder. 1948-64
