Cornelius Dissosway a farmer from Richmond County, New York, sells a Negro man named Robert, "aged about twenty" to John Arden and Frederick Babcock of the City and State of New York for the sum of one hundred and twenty pounds "lawful money." Large folio sheet, folded to form four pages, written on three and docketed on the fourth. Original wax seal, signed by Dissosway and witnesses. New York, 1796
